Hot Mix Asphalt Plants
Standard has committed to having the most technologically advanced asphalt plants available. This allows us to produce the highest quality mix at the highest production rates.
Sand & Gravel Pits
 Several of our gravel pits produce sand and gravel for the four asphalt plants, and base material and shoulder gravel for construction projects. In addition to supplying materials for our plants, we have four sand and gravel pits to serve our customer's needs. Our FOB sand and gravel pits are listed below. We are dedicated to excellent service and quality materials for homeowners, businesses, and contractors.
Shop and Equipment Yard
The company has recently completed an addition and renovation to the main shop facility on Raleigh LaGrange Road, doubling the amount of space for equipment repairs and maintenance. This is also the primary equipment yard from which most of the road equipment is based. The phone number is 757-9800.
Quality Control
All four asphalt plants utilize extensive quality control. There are fully equipped labs and trained certified personnel at all locations. Also, all of the plants are operated by certified plant operators. Standard is committed to producing a quality and a consistent product for all jobs; whether used on government roads, private parking lots, or sold to other contractors.
