Government Work
Standard Construction Company, Inc. is a full service asphalt contractor on any type of government job. Our crews are equipped with the best equipment available for handling the high production, high quality type of work required to lay the best roads around.
Standard works as the prime contractor on asphalt overlays for federal, state, and local governmental agencies. Periodically, Standard works as a subcontractor on new construction or expansion jobs where a dirt or bridge contractor is the prime.
Commercial Work
Standard Construction Company, Inc. can perform any type of asphalt work in the private sector. If it can be made from asphalt, Standard can build it. The majority of the projects are parking lot construction and asphalt overlays. Other projects consist of tennis courts, running tracks, jogging trails, etc.
Standard works for the general contractor on new construction or major expansion projects. We also work directly for the owner in rehab and overlay jobs. Typical projects would be apartments, shopping centers, schools, churches, subdivision developers, and office buildings.
A full-time staff can do plans takeoff and give estimates on a multitude of jobs.
Asphalt FOB Sales
In addition to being an asphalt contractor, Standard is a supplier of hot mix asphalt to other contractors, agencies and owners. We have hot mix available everyday, but will produce any type of mix in the quantity desired on a special order basis.
All plants have asphalt storage bins for quick loading of trucks to help in keeping the user productive with a fast turnaround. The plant on Raleigh LaGrange has a separate scale to expedite the loading of trucks.
Sand and Gravel FOB Sales
Currently, we have five sand and gravel pit locations to serve our customers, home builders, contractors, and the community. These locations are in Collierville, TN; Millington, TN; McNairy County, TN; and Byhalia, MS.
Our newest location, in Byhalia, serves a variety of customers by producing fill sand, washed sand, mason sand, and washed gravel. We also offer delivery services for all of our products.
Street Print
Street Print is a process where the asphalt is stamped in a brick pattern and then colored for the desired usage. Normal applications are for entrances and crosswalks; we have even done some areas around a horse barn.
Standard Construction is an authorized applicator for this patented process.
We also now offer StreetPrint XD® and DuraTherm® from Integrated Paving Concepts. As well as most other products available from Integrated Paving.
